Is it possible to change a school from an “F” rating to a “B” or “C” rating? It happened in this urban school, and the growth continues. Principal, Dr. Jack Hunter, and teacher, Mrs. Abbey Mezinko will discuss how Chase STEMM Academy, in Toledo, used John Hattie’s and Robert Marzano’s meta-analysis to produce positive change that resulted in the school being designated as a National and Ohio ‘School to Watch’ and also earning Ohio’s Momentum Award.

Additionally, our team will revisit last year’s focus on “Serving the Whole Child” by discussing what sites are implementing to address trauma-sensitive students and social/emotional learning.

Speakers:  Jack Hunter, Principal of Toledo Chase STEMM Academy
Abbey Mezinko, Teacher at Toledo Chase STEMM Acadamy

Registration Deadline: September 13, 2019
