This workshop provides teachers with the tools to help them write and ask better questions that address the standards they are teaching. This will lead to increased rigor and student engagement.

Erik specializes in teaching and learning that promotes cognitive rigor and postsecondary (college and career) readiness. He is the author of Now THAT’S a Good Question! How to Promote Cognitive Rigor Through Classroom Questioning (ASCD).
Erik has over 25 years of experience working in education as a classroom teacher, an administrator, a state education agency program specialist, a professional development provider and a consultant for several education associations.
