Congratulations to two 2023 National Pacesetter Sites from NE Ohio!
- McKinley STEM Academy
- Warrensville Heights Elementary
These two sites were named 2023 National Pacesetter Sites by the Southern Regional Education Board in Atlanta and are among the schools nationwide that will receive this honor at the Making Schools Work Conference in July 2023 in Orlando, Florida. These are the only two elementary schools to receive this award nationwide!

About Ohio Making Schools Work NE Region
The NE Ohio Region is one of four regional offices serving 70 sites as part of Ohio’s 287 Making Schools Work (MSW) sites. For 22 years, the regional offices have received MSW state grant funding from the Ohio Department of Education. Ohio Making Schools Work is a member of the Southern Regional Education Board located in Atlanta, Georgia.
