Welcome Dennis Haft, our new HSTW/MMGW State Coordinator!

Dennis has a diverse background in public education as a classroom teacher, building administrator and most recently  a district superintendent. He fully supports the goals of High Schools That Work around creating high expectations and multiple pathways for all students.  Dennis will join the Ohio Department of Education, Office of Graduate Success beginning February 28, 2022.  We look forward to working with Dennis to improve the success of our Ohio students!

Congratulations, Dan Leffingwell!
2022 Ohio Superintendent of the Year

Dan Leffingwell, Superintendent of Noble Local Schools, was recently named the 2022 Ohio Superintendent of the Year by the Buckeye Association of School Administrators (BASA). Dan was recognized for leading his district in creating an atmosphere of  continuous improvement while increasing opportunities for students. Noble Local schools participate in the Ohio High Schools That Work/Making Middle Grades Work network. In May 2022, Dan accepted a position at the East Central Ohio Educational Service Center as Executive Director of Special Projects and Student Services.
